In Tuesday's non-league test, the Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID) basketball team crushed the host Treasure Valley Classical Academy (Payette, ID), by a tally of 61-39.

The Lumberjacks now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Horseshoe Bend for a 1A Long Pin bout on Thursday, January 15. Council will play a Mustangs team coming off a 62-53 non-league loss to Victory Charter (Nampa, ID). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Treasure Valley Classical Academy falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The host Idaho City (Idaho City, ID) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 14. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Idaho City lost 41-33 in their recent league bout against Riverstone International (Boise, ID)
