The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Maple Valley Lions (Vermontville, MI) and the host Reading Rangers (Reading, MI), observed Maple Valley's basketball team overcome Reading by a score of 64-48.

The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bronson (Bronson, MI). The Vikings come into the Big 8 challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Bronson was topped by Stockbridge (Stockbridge, MI), 58-47, in a league contest.
