Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Eisenhower Tigers (Goddard, KS), 67-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Valley Center upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Hornets host Shawnee Mission East (Shawnee Mission, KS) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 20. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Shawnee Mission East lost 76-40 in their recent non-league bout against Shawnee Mission Northwest (Shawnee Mission, KS)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Heights Falcons (Wichita, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 20. Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
