The Strongsville Mustangs basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the host Euclid Panthers to 69 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoover for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 16. Strongsville will battle a Vikings team coming off a 58-56 league loss to Jackson (Massillon, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 9-3.

The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Brunswick (Brunswick, OH). The Blue Devils come into the Greater Cleveland contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Brunswick prevailed over Medina (Medina, OH), 72-71, in a league contest.
