The Anson Tigers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Hawley Bearcats to 32 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamlin for a 2A Region II District 10 contest on Tuesday, January 18. Anson will battle a Pied Pipers team coming off a 76-28 league loss to Cisco (Cisco, TX). The Pied Pipers record now stands at 4-6.

The Bearcats (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Stamford (Stamford, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region II District 10 contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Stamford triumphed over Albany (Albany, TX), 66-15, in a league contest.
