The Buford Wolves basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Central Gwinnett Black Knights to 17 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.

The Wolves now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winder-Barrow for a AAAAAA Region 8 contest on Saturday, January 15. Buford will battle a Bulldoggs team coming off a 67-53 league win over Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA). The Bulldoggs record now stands at 16-1.

The Black Knights (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Longhorns enter the AAAAAA Region 8 contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Lanier was routed by Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA), 45-32, in a league contest.
