Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cigarroa Toros (Laredo, TX) and the visiting Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX), saw Cigarroa's basketball squad overcome Palmview by a tally of 76-56.

With the victory, Cigarroa improves its record to 15-10 on the campaign. The Toros travel to Roma (Roma, TX) to confront the Gladiators in a 5A Region IV District 30 challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Lobos confront the Martin Tigers (Laredo, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Palmview will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record.
