The East Hampton Bellringers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils to 25 in the Bellringers league triumph on Friday.

The Bellringers now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westbrook for a Shoreline contest on Tuesday, January 18. East Hampton will meet a Knights team coming off a 53-27 non-league win over Wheeler (North Stonington, CT). The Knights record now stands at 5-3.

The Blue Devils (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT). The Cougars enter the Shoreline contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Haddam-Killingworth was routed by Conard (West Hartford, CT), 41-35, in a non-league contest.
