The Tiverton Tigers basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Mt. Hope Huskies to 29 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smithfield for a Division 2 contest on Monday, January 17. Tiverton will battle a Sentinels team coming off a 54-32 league loss to Rogers (Newport, RI). The Sentinels record now stands at 7-4.

The Huskies (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Chariho prevailed over North Providence (North Providence, RI), 42-40, in a league contest.
