With the victory, Abingdon/Avon improves its record to 4-14 on the campaign. The Tornadoes host Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL) to confront the Red Storm in a Lincoln Trail challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Red Storm come into the challenge with a record of 9-10. Monmouth United won 51-48 in their recent league challenge against Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL)
Next up, the Spartans confront the West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL) in a Prairieland challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Bushnell-Prairie City will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a 1-17 record after their 55-18 non-league loss to Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL).
