Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the AGBU Titans (Canoga Park, CA) and the visiting Pilibos Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), saw AGBU's basketball squad hold off Pilibos by a tally of 47-44.

With the victory, AGBU improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA) to confront the Stars in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Stars come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Mary Star of the Sea lost 50-44 in their recent league challenge against Bosco Tech (Rosemead, CA)

Next up, the Eagles confront the Milken Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a Liberty challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Pilibos will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 69-49 non-league loss to Shalhevet (Los Angeles, CA).
