The Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) basketball nipped the host Andover Huskies (Andover, MN), 87-81 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Royals (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Trojans go into the AAAA Section 6 test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Wayzata got by St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN), 76-58, in a non-league test.
