Alabama High School Basketball - Charles Henderson overwhelms Pike County
January 14, 2023: Brundidge, AL 36010 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Charles Henderson Trojans (Troy, AL) and the host Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL), saw Charles Henderson's basketball squad wallop Pike County by a tally of 72-43.
With the victory, Charles Henderson improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Highland Home (Highland Home, AL) to play the Flying Squadron in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Flying Squadron come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Highland Home won 63-21 in their recent league challenge against Goshen (Goshen, AL)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Opp Bobcats (Opp, AL) in a 3A Area 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Pike County will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 57-51 non-league win over Headland (Headland, AL).
