New York High School Basketball - La Salle Institute knocked off by Colonie Central
January 14, 2023: Albany, NY 12205 The Colonie Central Raiders basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting La Salle Institute Cadets to 50 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Raiders now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Colonie Central will battle a Spartans team coming off a 69-54 non-league loss to Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 6-5.
The Cadets (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY). The Blackbirds go into the non-league bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Voorheesville was knocked off by Catholic Central (Troy, NY), 72-57, in a league bout.
