New York High School Basketball - La Salle Institute can't hold off Shenendehowa
December 17, 2022: Clifton Park, NY 12065 The Shenendehowa Plainsmen basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting La Salle Institute Cadets to 53 in the Plainsmen non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Plainsmen now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middletown for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Shenendehowa will battle a Middie Bears team coming off a 77-55 league win over Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY). The Middie Bears record now stands at 2-1.
The Cadets (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY). The Riders enter the Section 2 Colonial - Liberty contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Ichabod Crane nudged Taconic Hills (Craryville, NY), 84-54, in a non-league contest.
