In Saturday's league outing, the Covington Chargers (Covington, TN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Ripley Tigers (Ripley, TN), by a margin of 70-47.

The Chargers (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Munford (Munford, TN). The Cougars go into the 3A District 14 outing with a 9-6 record. In their last outing, Munford was trounced by Haywood (Brownsville, TN), 62-54, in a league outing.
