Oklahoma High School Basketball - Oklahoma Union nips Dewey
January 14, 2023: Dewey, OK 74029 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Oklahoma Union Cougars (South Coffeyville, OK) and the host Dewey Bulldoggers (Dewey, OK), saw Oklahoma Union's basketball squad hold off Dewey by a tally of 39-32.
With the victory, Oklahoma Union improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host Dewey (Dewey, OK) to play the Bulldoggers in a Northeast Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Bulldoggers come into the challenge with a record of 3-5.
Next up, the Bulldoggers play the Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Dewey will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 80-39 league loss to Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK).
