Illinois High School Basketball - West Aurora tops Glenbard East
January 14, 2023: Lombard, IL 60148 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) and the host Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL), saw West Aurora's basketball squad knock off Glenbard East by a tally of 74-61.
With the victory, West Aurora improves its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Palatine (Palatine, IL) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Palatine lost 55-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL)
Next up, the Rams play the Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Glenbard East will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 58-51 non-league win over Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL).
