Washington High School Basketball - Lynden Christian over Seattle Academy
January 14, 2023: Seattle, WA 98122 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) and the host Seattle Academy Cardinals (Seattle, WA), saw Lynden Christian's basketball squad overcome Seattle Academy by a tally of 77-61.
With the victory, Lynden Christian improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Lyncs travel to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA) to confront the Wildcats in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Monday, January 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Oak Harbor lost 73-69 in their recent league challenge against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Bear Creek Grizzlies (Redmond, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Seattle Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 78-48 non-league loss to La Salle (Union Gap, WA).
