Washington High School Basketball - Seattle Academy nudges Overlake
January 24, 2023: Redmond, WA 98053 Seattle Academy Cardinals (Seattle, WA) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Overlake Owls (Redmond, WA), 56-54 in a league outing.
The Cardinals (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Sammamish (Bellevue, WA). The RedHawks go into the non-league outing with a 11-4 record.
The Owls now hold a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest for a 1A Emerald Sound contest on Friday, January 27. Overlake will battle a House team coming off a 62-46 non-league loss to Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The House record now stands at 8-8.
