Washington High School Basketball - Sammamish edges Overlake
January 14, 2023: Redmond, WA 98053 The Sammamish RedHawks (Bellevue, WA) basketball nipped the host Overlake Owls (Redmond, WA), 55-54 in Saturday's non-league test.
The RedHawks (7-4) will now prepare for their bout against Port Angeles (Port Angeles, WA). The Roughriders go into the non-league bout with a 10-2 record. In their last bout, Port Angeles held off Bremerton (Bremerton, WA), 72-43, in a league bout.
Next up, the Owls play the Lakeside Lions (Seattle, WA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Overlake will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 44-31 league loss to Ballard (Seattle, WA).
