South Dakota High School Basketball - St. Mary can't hold off Madison
January 14, 2023: Madison, SD 57042 The St. Mary Cardinals basketball team (Dell Rapids, SD), was nudged 70-63 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Madison Bulldogs (Madison, SD)
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dell Rapids for a A Region 3 battle on Thursday, January 19. Madison will battle a Quarriers team coming off a 76-43 non-league win over Milbank (Milbank, SD). The Quarriers record now stands at 5-1.
The Cardinals (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Castlewood (Castlewood, SD). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Castlewood was nudged by Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD), 64-61, in a non-league battle.
