Michigan High School Basketball - Pennfield thwarts Marshall
January 14, 2023: Battle Creek, MI 49017 The Pennfield Panthers (Battle Creek, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Marshall Redhawks (Marshall, MI), 49-39 in Saturday's league test.
The Panthers (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Hastings (Hastings, MI). The Saxons go into the Interstate Eight test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Hastings went down by Lakewood (Lake Odessa, MI), 43-37, in a non-league test.
The Redhawks now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Northwest for a Interstate Eight test on Tuesday, January 17. Marshall will encounter a Mounties squad coming off a 65-39 league win over Hastings (Hastings, MI). The Mounties record now stands at 6-3.
