January 14, 2023: Uniontown, PA 15401 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Albert Gallatin Colonials basketball team scored a decisive 62-26 triumph over the Uniontown Red Raiders.
In their next game, the Colonials face the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 match, on Thursday, January 19. Albert Gallatin will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Jaguars enter the match with a 5-7 record after their 66-40 league win over Connellsville (Connellsville, PA).
With the defeat, Uniontown moves to 0-13 on the year. The Red raiders travel to Southmoreland (Alverton, PA) to confront the Scotties in a WPIAL 4A 3 battle on Monday, January 16. The Scotties come into the battle with a record of 1-12. Southmoreland lost 42-29 in their recent league battle against Ringgold (Monongahela, PA)
