Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Charleroi ripped by Thomas Jefferson
January 14, 2023: Jefferson Hills, PA 15025 The Thomas Jefferson Jaguars basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Charleroi Cougars to 39 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Jaguars now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Connellsville for a WPIAL 5A 3 contest on Monday, January 16. Thomas Jefferson will battle a Falcons team coming off a 54-31 league loss to Albert Gallatin (Uniontown, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-11.
The Cougars (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against McGuffey (Claysville, PA). The Highlanders enter the WPIAL 3A 4 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, McGuffey was routed by Yough (Herminie, PA), 39-23, in a league contest.
