December 27, 2022: Jefferson Hills, PA 15025 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting Belle Vernon Leopards (Belle Vernon, PA), by a margin of 33-32.
The Jaguars (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Warriors go into the WPIAL 5A 3 outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, Penn-Trafford held off Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA), 46-38, in a non-league outing.
The Leopards now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Aquinas Academy for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 28. Belle Vernon will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 61-27 non-league win over Rockwood (Rockwood, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-0.
