California High School Basketball - Hoover knocked off by El Cajon Valley

January 14, 2023: El Cajon, CA 92021

The El Cajon Valley Braves basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Hoover Cardinals to 46 in the Braves non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Braves now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Hills for a Grossmont - Valley contest on Tuesday, January 17. El Cajon Valley will meet a Wolf Pack team coming off a 32-20 league loss to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 7-8.

The Cardinals (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against La Jolla (La Jolla, CA). The Vikings enter the City contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, La Jolla was outscored by Santa Fe Christian (Solana Beach, CA), 52-48, in a non-league contest.
