The Central Spartans basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Hoover Cardinals to 40 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crawford for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Central will battle a Colts team coming off a 44-33 non-league loss to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Colts record now stands at 4-10.

The Cardinals (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sweetwater (National City, CA). The Red Devils come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Sweetwater was routed by Helix (La Mesa, CA), 68-8, in a non-league contest.
