The Morton Panthers basketball team (Morton, MS), dropped 46-26 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS)

The Bearcats now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast Lauderdale for a 3A Region 5 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Forest will battle a Tigers team coming off a 43-29 league loss to Enterprise (Enterprise, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.

The Panthers (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Enterprise (Enterprise, MS). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region 5 battle with a 18-3 record. In their last battle, Enterprise beat Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS), 43-29, in a league battle.
