The Martin Luther Spartans (Greendale, WI) basketball felled the host Grafton Black Hawks (Grafton, WI), 51-40 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Spartans (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Racine Lutheran (Racine, WI). The Crusaders go into the Metro Classic test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Racine Lutheran thwarted Shoreland Lutheran (Somers, WI), 53-24, in a league test.

The Black Hawks now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host West Bend West for a North Shore bout on Friday, January 20.
