Afton Eagles (Afton, OK) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Commerce Tigers (Commerce, OK), 56-42 in a league match.

With the victory, Afton advances its record to 6-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 5-4.

The Tigers now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Welch for a Lucky Seven match on Friday, January 17. Commerce will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 69-28 non-league win over Watts (Watts, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
