California High School Basketball - Central holds off Buchanan

January 14, 2025: Fresno, CA 93722

The Central Grizzlies basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Buchanan Bears to 61 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Tuesday.

The Grizzlies now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Clovis North for a Tri-Rivers game on Friday, January 17. Central will confront a Broncos team coming off a 88-63 league win over Clovis (Clovis, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Buchanan falls to 17-3 on the campaign. The Bears host Clovis West (Fresno, CA) to confront the Golden Eagles in a Tri-Rivers game on Friday, January 17. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 9-11. Clovis West won 66-41 in their recent league game against Clovis East (Clovis, CA)
