With the victory, Copiah Academy advances its record to 11-10 on the year. The Colonels travel to St. Aloysius (Vicksburg, MS) to meet the Flashes in a MAIS 5A District 4 battle on Friday, January 17. The Flashes enter the battle with a record of 3-4. St. Aloysius lost 53-52 in their recent non-league battle against St. Joseph (Greenville, MS)
The Green Wave now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Copiah Academy for a MAIS 5A District 4 battle on Friday, January 24.
