Iowa High School Basketball - Mt. Vernon victorious over Center Point-Urbana
January 14, 2025: Mt. Vernon, IA 52314 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Mt. Vernon Mustangs basketball team scored a good 56-46 triumph over the Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers.
The Mustangs (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Independence, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Independence was topped by West Delaware (Manchester, IA), 67-61, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Stormin' Pointers battle the Marion/Newton Christian Academy (Marion, IA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Center Point-Urbana will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record.
