In Tuesday's league contest, the host Crisp County Cougars basketball team scored a big 83-40 triumph over the Cook Hornets.

The Cougars (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Warriors go into the AA Region 3 contest with a 13-2 record.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA) in a AA Region 3 contest, on Friday, January 17. Cook will attempt to better on its 3-14 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 13-2 record after their 45-42 non-league win over Toombs County (Lyons, GA).
