January 14, 2025: Yukon, OK 73099 Southwest Covenant Patriots (Yukon, OK) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Cyril Pirates (Cyril, OK), 59-54 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Southwest Covenant upgrades its record to 10-0 on the year. The Patriots travel to Earlsboro (Earlsboro, OK) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 7-6. Earlsboro won 57-52 in their recent non-league match against Roff (Roff, OK)
The Pirates now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Duke for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Cyril will face a Tigers squad coming off a 73-22 league win over Tipton (Tipton, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 14-3.
