DeSoto County Bulldogs (Arcadia, FL) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Lake Placid Dragons (Lake Placid, FL), 67-18 in a non-league match.

With the victory, DeSoto County upgrades its record to 8-11 on the year. The Bulldogs host North Port (North Port, FL) to face the Bobcats in a non-league match on Thursday, January 23. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 3-12.

The Dragons now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moore Haven for a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. Lake Placid will face a Terriers squad coming off a 66-49 non-league loss to Avon Park (Avon Park, FL). The Terriers record now stands at 8-4.
