Illinois High School Basketball - Taft bests Elmwood Park
January 14, 2025: Chicago, IL 60631 The Taft Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Elmwood Park Tigers to 43 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now possess a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Lake View for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Taft will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 53-45 league win over Senn (Chicago, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Elmwood Park falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Ridgewood (Norridge, IL) to confront the Rebels in a Upstate Eight game on Friday, January 17. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 9-9. Ridgewood lost 68-58 in their recent non-league game against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL)
