Illinois High School Basketball - Metea Valley routs Elmwood Park
January 28, 2025: Aurora, IL 60502 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Metea Valley Mustangs basketball team scored a big 78-54 triumph over the Elmwood Park Tigers.
The Mustangs (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats go into the DuPage Valley contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Neuqua Valley smashed Rochelle Zell Jewish (Deerfield, IL), 67-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a Upstate Eight - East contest, on Thursday, January 30. Elmwood Park will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 12-11 record after their 53-48 non-league loss to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL).
