The The Vanguard School Coursers basketball squad (Colorado Springs, CO), was crushed 71-47 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Forge Christian Fury (Arvada, CO)

With the victory, Forge Christian advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Fury travel to Eagle Ridge Academy (Brighton, CO) to meet the Warriors in a 4A/3A Metro battle on Thursday, January 16. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 4-6. Eagle Ridge Academy won 50-40 in their recent non-league battle against Weld Central (Keenesburg, CO)

The Coursers now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fountain Valley for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 16. The Vanguard School will meet a Danes squad coming off a 49-43 non-league loss to Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO). The Danes record now stands at 3-2.
