The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) and the host Banning Lewis Academy Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO), observed The Vanguard School's basketball team edge Banning Lewis Academy by a score of 70-67.

The Coursers (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Forge Christian (Arvada, CO). The Fury come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Forge Christian edged Sterling (Sterling, CO), 82-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Stallions battle the Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO) in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Banning Lewis Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
