Colorado High School Basketball - The Vanguard School sneaks past Salida

The The Vanguard School Coursers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Salida Spartans to 58 in the Coursers league triumph on Thursday.

The Coursers now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they host Rye for a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks game on Friday, February 21. The Vanguard School will play a Thunderbolts team coming off a 61-55 league win over James Irwin (Colorado Springs, CO). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 7-12.

With the loss, Salida falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Spartans host Buena Vista (Buena Vista, CO) to play the Demons in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks game on Tuesday, February 25. The Demons go into the game with a record of 14-6. Buena Vista lost 59-27 in their recent non-league game against Centauri (La Jara, CO)
