Colorado High School Basketball - Lamar nips The Vanguard School

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Lamar Thunder basketball team scored a close 62-57 triumph over the The Vanguard School Coursers.

The Thunder (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO). The Panthers go into the 4A/3A Tri-Peaks contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Woodland Park nipped James Irwin (Colorado Springs, CO), 74-34, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Coursers battle the St. Mary's Pirates (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks contest, on Friday, February 7. The Vanguard School will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 83-43 league win over Florence (Florence, CO).
