Alabama High School Basketball - Oakman routs Gordo
January 14, 2025: Oakman, AL 35579 In Tuesday's league contest, the host Oakman Wildcats basketball team scored a big 49-26 triumph over the Gordo Green Wave.
The Wildcats (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Area 10 contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, Carbon Hill smashed Corner (Warrior, AL), 70-63, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Green Wave confront the Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Gordo will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Tornadoes go into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 50-37 league loss to South Lamar (Millport, AL).
