January 14, 2025: Anchorage, AK 99516 The Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK) basketball edged the visiting Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK), 71-67 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Grizzlies now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kodiak for a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. Grace Christian will play a Bears team coming off a 54-42 non-league win over Mountain City Christian Academy (Anchorage, AK). The Bears record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Wasilla falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Nome-Beltz (Nome, AK) to play the Nanooks in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. The Nanooks go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Nome-Beltz won 67-65 in their recent non-league bout against Susitna Valley (Talkeetna, AK)
