January 14, 2025: Guy, AR 72061 Wonderview Daredevils (Hattieville, AR) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds (Guy, AR), 63-34 in a league match.
With the victory, Wonderview advances its record to 16-9 on the year. The Daredevils host Nemo Vista (Center Ridge, AR) to meet the Red Hawks in a 1A Region 5 match on Friday, January 17. The Red Hawks enter the match with a record of 9-11. Nemo Vista lost 66-58 in their recent non-league match against Scranton (Scranton, AR)
The Thunderbirds now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midland for a 1A Region 5 match on Friday, January 17. Guy-Perkins will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 53-43 league loss to Augusta (Augusta, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-9.
