Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Holy Redeemer toppled by Wyoming Area
January 14, 2025: Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701 Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Holy Redeemer Royals (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 78-63 in a league match.
With the victory, Wyoming Area advances its record to 8-3 on the year. The Warriors host Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA) to face the Blue Knights in a Wyoming Valley 2 match on Thursday, January 16. The Blue Knights enter the match with a record of 4-8. Wyoming Seminary College Prep won 39-28 in their recent league match against MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA)
The Royals now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berwick for a Wyoming Valley 2 match on Thursday, January 16. Holy Redeemer will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 48-44 league win over Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-6.
