Nevada High School Basketball - Hug overwhelms Sparks

The Hug Hawks basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Sparks Railroaders to 27 in the Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now possess a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Truckee for a 3A Northern - West game on Friday, January 17. Hug will play a Wolverines team coming off a 54-40 league loss to North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-12.

With the loss, Sparks falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Railroaders host South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA) to play the Vikings in a 3A Northern - West game on Friday, January 17. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 11-5. South Tahoe lost 66-61 in their recent league game against Wooster (Reno, NV)
