January 14, 2025: Mashpee, MA 02649 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Middleborough Sachems (Middleborough, MA) and the host Mashpee Falcons (Mashpee, MA), observed Middleborough's basketball team overwhelm Mashpee by a score of 76-53.
The Sachems (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockland (Rockland, MA). The Bulldogs come into the South Shore challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Rockland was routed by Silver Lake Regional (Kingston, MA), 59-51, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Falmouth Clippers (Falmouth, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Mashpee will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Clippers come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 67-65 league win over Dennis-Yarmouth Regional (South Yarmouth, MA).
