The Melrose Buffaloes were victorious over the visiting New Mexico Military Institute Colts basketball squad by a final score of 50-30 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Buffaloes clash with the Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 17. Melrose will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 8-7 record after their 70-62 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM).
